Glue vs technical work is such a hard balance for Staff Engineers. Easy to just focus on technical and ignore leveling up others and moving multiple projects forward.
My observation is many staff+ engineers like the glue work but struggle to show the value. It is possible to showcase and get credit for glue work! Hoping to teach more staff+ engineers about this in my course.
